Robert Spano flat-called a raise by Alex Lee and then check-raised the flop to 35,000. Lee called and Spano continued to check-call two streets worth of bets on the turn for 38,000 and the river for 67,000. Lee showed the and scooped the big pot.
Samantha Abernathy had been mostly tight so far, not letting any of the crazy action get to her, and lost a few chips compared to what she started with.
Mark Payne pushed from the small blind and Ashley Mason called out of the big blind for his last 72,500. Once the other table had completed the hand, they flipped them over.
On the turn, Michael Tchong bet 23,500 and Don Mishra moved all in for 89,000. "Gamble Gamble," the finalist of the Accumulator event said, but Tchong didn't fall for it and folded. Mishra showed him a queen.
The two tables are currently playing hand for hand with 11 participants remaining, the final table will be united at 10.
At the very start of the final table, chip leader Mark Payne kicked off things in style. Michael Tchong raised to 23,000 and Alex Lee three-bet to 77,000. Payne then four-bet to 200,000 and enforced folds all around.
