Rebuy Tournament Scheduled Too Early?

A couple of the Aussie pros were joking that they wished the rebuy tournament was scheduled a little later in the week. They want the deep pockets of all the American pros to pad the prize pool. Most of the Las Vegas pros will be arriving in a few days.

Mel Judah picks up chips

Mel Judah, who was sitting on 2475 during the break having not wanted to add-on, picks up some chips on the button. Some action pre-flop between the cutoff and Mel results in a pot that is just over 600 in chips. Flop comes {2-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, cutoff leads out and bets, Mel calls. Turn is a {8-Diamonds} and again the cutoff leads out and bets and Mel calls. River is a repeater {4-Clubs} and the cutoff bets 475. Mel thinks about it and calls. Cutoff turns over {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and Mel shows {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} for the flush. Mel is now up to 5500 in chips.

Lee Nelson vs Tony Hachem

On a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} Tony check raises all in behind a $1000 bet from Lee Nelson. Lee insta calls with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Tony shows {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}.

The turn is the {2-Hearts}

The River brings a miracle for Tony with the {A-Clubs} and Lee is crippled.

Lee Nelson knocked out!

Lee "Final Table" Nelson, after losing his stack to Tony Hachem earlier and now short stacked (850ish), is in the BB of 100. He gets to see a flop along with the SB and an early position limper. Flop comes {7-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}, SB checks, Lee pushes all-in, limper folds and SB calls. Lee shows {6-Clubs} {4-Hearts} and SB turns over {A-Hearts} {10-Spades}. Turn comes an {A-Clubs} and Lee is left with 3 outs. River is a {2-Diamonds} and it's all over for the reigning Aussie Millions champion!
