South Africa represented

Their is a contingent of South African poker players here as a group of about 20. They have been to the World Series in Las Vegas and are headed to Monte Carlo next. This is there first time at Aussie Millions.

Fischman doubles up a player

On a flop of {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Scott Fischman checks to his opponent, who bets out 2k. Scott min-raises to 4k, the other player is shortstacked and goes all-in with Scott calling the extra amount. Scott is ahead with {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, while his opponent has {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The turn is the As and the unknown player doubles up to around 12,000. Scott still has about 10,000 in chips.

Speed Poker

The hands go faster (sometimes) but the tournament seems to be lagging.
232 players remaing, along with a far number of bounties yet to be collected and the blinds are going up.

Level: 6

Blinds: 200/400

Ante: 0

Bounty Survives

Scott Fischman gets it all-in on a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} his opponent is having done of that Professional Bullying and makes the big call.
Scott shows {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, his opponent tosses up {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. Oops!
But the turn is the big fat lovely {Q-Clubs} and Scott survives and doubles up to 15K.

There are officially 17 bounties still with the Bounty ID tags hanging around their necks and the $1,000 hanging over their heads.

Shuffle Up and Steal!

Yet another internet apology

We were down again but welcome back!

170 players remaining, coming up on a short break and then two more levels until dinner. This is a one day event before tomorrow's $100,000 buy-in NLHE event.

Yes, that is not a misprint, Mr. Negreanu, a $100,000 event. Apparently Daniel thought the $100K was a misprint and came down under a bit lite in the wallet.
