Stepanian Spikes an Ace to Double Through Peterman

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Richard Stepanian
Richard Stepanian

Richard Stepanian jammed for 190,000 before Nancy Peterman shoved her entire 430,000 in the middle. Ruben Vancelette was in the big blind and took about 30 seconds before letting his hand go.

Richard Stepanian: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Nancy Peterman: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop was safe for Peterman as it came {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} though, pairing Stepanian's ace to take the lead.

"Diamond!" cried Peterman, cheering for a chop pot.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Stepanian collected a double up.

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Stefano Bario
Stefano Bario

Jeff Bowden was all in before the flop with his last 200,000 against Stefano Bario and both hands were tabled.

Jeff Bowden: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Stefano Bario: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

It was a classic race until the flop came {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, giving Bario trip queens. Bowden was unable to find one of the last fours in the deck as the board completed with the {j-Diamonds} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river.

Kelly Doubles

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
John Kelly
John Kelly

Aaron Groover raised 140,000 in an early position and John Kelly pushed his entire 305,000 stack across the line from the cutoff. The action folded back to Groover and he took some time before sigh-calling.

John Kelly: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Aaron Groover: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, improving Kelly to top pair. The {7-Clubs} fell on the turn securing the double for Kelly and the {3-Diamonds} river was just a formality.

Four players saw a flop of {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} and the action checked through to the {5-Diamonds} turn.

Nick Sims was in the small blind and led out for 100,000. Nancy Peterman was next to act and folded. Ruben Vancelette contemplated for some time before letting it go and Richard Stepanian mucked on the button, sending the pot to Sims.
