Cutler Bounces Back; Eliminates Jampole

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Derrick Cutler
Derrick Cutler

A few minutes after Derrick Cutler missed his flush draw to give Michael Ison a big pot, the Georgia-native found another chance to chip up.

With 800 in the pot and {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on the board, Brooks Jampole shoved from early position for 7,000. After a few moments of thought, Cutler put the calling chips in the middle.

Brooks Jampole: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Derrick Cutler: {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Jampole was ahead with a pair of tens, but a {4-Clubs} on the turn put him in the lead with trip fours. The {j-Diamonds} on the river was of no consequence and Cutler secured the elimination to chip back up.

Kusnerak Chips Up

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Kusnerak
Daniel Kusnerak

PokerNews picked up the action with a raise to 3,000 from a player in the big blind. A limping player in middle position came along and Daniel Kusnerak called from the small blind.

The flop was {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Kusnerak checked. The big blind bet 3,000 and the player in middle position folded. Kusnerak called and the turn was {a-Clubs}.

Both players checked the turn and the river was {9-Diamonds}.

Kusnerak put out a small bet of 700 and the big blind went into the tank for a couple of minutes before reluctantly tossing in a chip to call. Kusnerak showed {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and his opponent tossed the losing hand in the muck.
