A huge pot just went down involving three players, two of which were all in for their tournament lives. While we caught the board cards being revealed, the following rundown of the action was provided by Nick Spence, who ended up on top in this three-way clash.
Spence opened for 2,800 to begin the action and two players opted to flat before a short-stack moved all in for his last 20,000. The action returned to Spence, who shoved all in for 34,400 more, while the first flatter did the same for his last 45,000 or so. The final player in the hand agonized over his decision, before laying down what he claimed to be a "good suited connector."
The three remaining combatants then showed down, with Spence's in a commanding position against the short-stack's and the bigger stack's .
When the flop rained down the hand's drama came to an end rather quickly, as both of Spence's opponent's were now essentially drawing dead. When the arrived on the turn Spence's set of aces were the winner, and he tripled up to push above the 100,000-chip plateau.

Four players took a flop of , including John Lakatosh. He fired out 3,000, two opponents called, and the turn was the . Lakatosh bet another 9,000, the field thinned to only one caller, and a second nine - the - completed the board.
Lakatosh emptied the chamber, firing another 10,000, and his opponent tank-called. Lakatosh showed for trip nines, and his opponent flashed for the same hand with an inferior kicker.
Lakatosh dragged in the pot, and is now flirting with 200,000 chips.

After documenting the remarkable run of reentries made by high-rolling tournament player Micah Raskin - who has lodged at least 8 buy-ins through three starting flights - we can now report that his latest effort has ended like all those before it.
Raskin was seen standing to sweat the board cards a few tables from the PokerNews Live Reporting desk, and within a few seconds he was gathering his belongings to make yet another exit.
With Day 1d set to start at 7 p.m. local time, we would shocked to see a Raskin-less field, as he makes one last attempt to push that boulder to the top of an unreachable peak.

We passed by Eric Rivkin's table just in time to see the young semi-pro engaged in a heated duel with a lone opponent.
The flop read and Rivkin was facing a 15,000 wager (which was likely a raise of Rivkin's flop bet, based on the sizing).
Soon enough Rivkin announced himself all in and the accounting showed the wager to be worth 25,900 more. After tanking long and hard, Rivkin's opponent elected to call him down, leaving just 8,000 behind.
Rivkin:

Rivkin had baited his man into calling with bottom pair, and with his top pair/top kicker combination, Rivkin was in a commanding position to double through. The turn () and river () changed nothing and a pot worth nearly 100,000 was shipped in Rivkin's direction.

Bill Galler opened to 3,600 from under the gun, a player on his left called, and a third player moved all in for around 20,000 in the blinds. Galler re-shoved, the caller folded, and the hands were opened.

Galler's kings crushed his opponent's wired queens, and the men held up as the board rolled out .
