Event 1: Pitocco "The Psychic"
After a flop of , Philip Pitocco bet 2,000 from the button after his opponent in the hijack checked. The player called, and the board double-paired with the on the turn. The hijack checked once more, and Pitocco threw 4,000 into the pot before his opponent could even finish rapping the table. The hijack made the call, and the players saw a river. After a final check, Pitocco doubled his wager once again, tossing out 8,000. Pitocco's opponent seemed perturbed by the bet, leaning back in his seat and tanking for a minute or so. Finally, he slid his cards to the dealer. Pitocco revealed a for king high.
"This guy's a psychic," a player at the table said a few hands earlier. "He said he was gonna be all in on the flop, and he was, and he flopped broadway."
If Pitocco is indeed a psychic, this tournament should be over relatively quickly since he'll have no problem getting all of the chips.
