Phillip Rinaldi Channels Richard Sherman

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

With the flop reading {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, Phillip Rinaldi fired out a bet of 50,000 into a short-stacked opponent. With just 150,000 left to play with, that player made his stand and moved all in for the rest of it, forcing Rinaldi into the tank as he contemplated his options.

"It's a hundred more to me?," he asked the dealer as he pondered. "Man, this would be such a light call."

After waiting for more than two minutes to make a decision, Rinaldi finally elected to look his man up and he called while tabling just {A-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

The all-in player could only muster {Q-Clubs}{j-Spades} for an open-ended straight draw, and while Rinaldi didn't even hold a pair, his ace-high hand had him out in front.

Turn: {3-Clubs}
River: {k-Hearts}

The board bricked out to give Rinaldi the pot, and as it did so, he stood defiantly to inform the table that "you don't make a move like that on me!"

"I'm the only player here who could make that call... and you try that on me?"

As Rinaldi continued the verbal barrage, his shell-shocked opponent could do nothing but stand and make his exit, the frustration evident on his face as he headed away.
