Nick Palma finished eighth yesterday in the $300 Deepest Stack NLH event, earning $5,699, which will push his reported career earnings beyond the $1.5 million mark.
No day off for Palma though, who is back at it early today in Flight C, hoping to bag big so he can take tomorrow off and if not, fire again in later flights.
Edwin Ortiz won the 2019 Summer Poker Open $600 Deep Stack Kick-Off event, walking away with $105,000 for first place in a seven-way adjusted payout. He took home his first Borgata trophy in what was by far his best cash ever.
Although he failed to cash in the BPO Kick-Off last week, he's back at it today trying to take down another big score.
Igor Miller has busted out for the second time today. He apparently jammed his single pair into a straight flush and was eliminated. We'll see if he fires another bullet.
