Day 1 Started
It’s Friday night and time for another $215 No-Limit Hold’em event in the 2020 Borgata Spring Poker Open Online Series. The week-long series is now in full swing with a handful of champions already having been crowned, and another action-packed evening is set to ensue as Event #12 High: $20,000 GTD NLH gets underway at 7:30 p.m. local time.
This tournament is the second version of its kind, after Wednesday’s Event #5 exceeded the $20,000 guaranteed prize pool with a field of 162 entries, generating a prize pool of $32,400 that awarded a first-place prize of $8,424.
Like Wednesday’s tournament, this event gives players 50,000 in starting chips with 10-minute levels for the duration of the tournament. Unlimited entries and re-entries are available through the first 18 levels of play, closing at around 10:45 p.m.
