Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Frank Nera & Michael Azzaro
Frank Nera & Michael Azzaro

Michael Azzaro got his chips in holding {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} against the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Frank Nera. Azzaro was the favorite to double his short stack, but the board did not cooperate.

The final community cards read {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, giving Nera kings-up to beat Azzaro's queens-up. Azzaro reported to the rail and Nera stacked up to ~625,000.

The final 400 players are guaranteed a min-cash of $1,203, a double-up for those on team #OneBullet. For those who fired twice, a cruel $3 profit.

For those who fired three bullets, they'll have to hold on all the way to 170th place or better before they're in the black.

Tong Takes One Out

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Paul Tong
Paul Tong

Borgata's 2017 Spring Poker Open Seniors Champion Paul Tong is doing his part to bring us closer to the money.

A shortie was all-in holding {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Tong called him down with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} gave Tong a flush draw to go with his one overcard and the {5-Diamonds} turn sealed the deal, completing his flush. The {a-Hearts} on the river was just salt in the busted player's wound.

Tong chipped up to about 450,000 with that pot and we're inching closer to the bubble!
