Another new Borgata Winter Poker Open trophy event kicks off at 1 p.m. today in the Event Center, running alongside Day 2 the Almighty Stack.

Event #14: $1,090 Six-Max NLH with $200,000 Guarantee is a two-day tournament and will start players with 20,000 in chips. Late registration and re-entries will be available through the break at the end of Level 10. Levels 1-8 will last 30 minutes and after that will switch to 45 minutes in length. At the final table, they'll jump one more time to one-hour levels.

Day 1 will run until 2 a.m. or 18 players, then they'll bag up for the night and return at 12 noon Saturday, January 25 for Day 2 and play until a winner is determined.

Last year this tournament crushed its $200,000 Guarantee by drawing 328 entrants, which resulted in a prize pool of more than $318,000. It was after 2 a.m. on Day 2 when Joshua Bergman of Brookline, MA, ultimately prevailed to win the title and accompanying $77,946 first-place prize.
