New Cash Game Festival Record of 25 Tables!

Cash Game Festival Waiting Line
Cash Game Festival Waiting Line

We are at 25 tables now, which is a new record for the Cash Game Festival. The number will likely reach over 30 tables soon with a huge waiting line and many people on the waiting list.

Currently the biggest table for no-limit hold'em is £5/£10, however, the feature table is about to change to £25/£50 no-limit hold'em with the potential of it playing even higher if players decide to straddle.

Double Fantasyland!

Over on the pineapple OFC table, we just witnessed something you don't see every day. While Mark Wraith was expected to score big while in fantasyland, he was in for a surprise instead.

His opponent, Austrian football pro "Mario" who was playing two hands wound up not only with one hand in fantasyland but both! We promise this is no April Fool's Day joke.

That being said, both players are having a good time and after a back-and-forth marathon match they are only 10 points apart.

Big Action Omaha Table Beginning

A £10/£25 pot-limit Omaha game is about to break out with a bunch of Scandinavian players. We expect some of the biggest pots thus far in the Cash Game Festival London to take place on this table and will bring you some of the more exciting action.

Stephensen Ships a Pot Ran Twice

Felix Stephensen

The action began innocently enough with British poker player Robert Cohen min-raising under the gun to £50. Next to action was Felix Stephensen who flat-called before the action was folded to Mikko Turtiaianen who three-bet from the small blind to £225. The big-blind folded before the other two opponents already in the pot called.

Flop: {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

With already £700 in the pot, Turtiaianen declared himself all-in for his remaining £575 stack. Cohen folded and Stephensen quickly called. Players agreed to run it twice with the first board completing with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and the second board completing with {2-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

Stephensen turned over {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs} which apparently was good enough to win twice and collect the full £1,850 pot as Turtiaianen tossed his hand into the muck.

Turtiaianen, who was seen playing in big action games yesterday, is here to play and quickly reloaded his stack.

Stephensen is originally from Norway, but didn't have to travel that far to attend the Cash Game Festival London since he now lives in London. He shared with us that he heard about the Cash Game Festival and thought the action would be good.

Another New Record With 27 Tables

It's Friday night and people are coming to Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in groves to be part of Cash Game Festival history. We are now at a record-breaking 27 tables with many more on line waiting to play.

Huge Feature Table

Cash Game Festival London Chips
Cash Game Festival London Chips

Streaming now on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel now is a £25/£50 no-limit hold'em game, the highest stakes we have seen thus far in the poker festival. Pretty much everyone is sitting with a mountain of chips with the average stack north of £10,000

Here is a look at the competition:

Spain's Javier Perez Estevez came in just for the Cash Game Festival and has been seen in some big pots throughout the first three days. He describes himself as both an engineer and a poker player.

David Pedro Leja who currently lives in London has also been noticed in a lot of action throughout the first three days of the poker festival.

Spain's Carlos Sanchez admits he has a lot of cash game experience, but not too much being featured. This is his first time on a live stream while playing.

Not much is known about Gang Wang other than according to the Hendon Mob he is showing a little less than $10,000 in career tournament cashes. Although he isn't proficient in English, he seems more than proficient in figures and poker as he was witnessed in big action yesterday as well.

UK's Matthew Moss describes himself as a poker pro, but usually plays at home in front of a computer. However, the Cash Game Festival motivated him to get in on some live action.

Cyprus' Elia Christodoulou is a florist by day, but is enjoys big action poker. He is one of the shorter stacks on the deep table with £6,400 in front of him.

You can check out the action on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel linked here.

Sviten Special Table Helps Smash Record

We are now at 28 tables, which is a new record for the Cash Game Festival! The action game Sviten Special also just began making it another new poker game appearing for the first time in the Cash Game Festival London. However, during the last Cash Game Festival in Tallinn, Estonia this game was often noticed being featured on 3-4 tables.
