In From Denmark - Mikal Blomlie

Denmark's Mikal Blomlie loves to travel where-ever the action is. He heard about the Cash Game Festival and his love of London brought him to the UK capital to play in this historic event.

Blomlie was just noticed being disappointed in not scooping a pot in Sviten Special when he drew one card for the nut-flush in his draw hand. He already had a straight on the flop for his Omaha hand as well, but it became counterfeited for a better straight on the turn for him to chop the pot.

The Dane's girlfriend is also in town with him to do some shopping while Blomlie is having fun on the felts.

Dealer's Choice Game

So far we have only seen local poker player Mark Wraith battling it out in heads-up pineapple open-face Chinese poker. It looks like the Brit has a few other tricks up his sleeve as we just caught up with him at the first dealer's choice game of the 2016 Cash Game Festival London.

Everyone at the table appears to be having a good time in a low-stakes affair where regardless of the game the blinds are £1/£2. Wraith shared with us that thus far the games played included pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha h/l, super-stud, stud, razz, baduci, badaci, and badugi.

HUGE Hand Wraps Up the Feature Table

The buzz is brewing throughout Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City after a huge hand just took place on the £25/£50 no limit hold'em feature table, which coincidentally was right when it was announced it was the last hand to be streamed.

Three players were just all-in with best hands in poker.

Andrew Paul Baar was all-in for £2,700 with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} followed by David Pedro Lega going all-in for over £8,500 with {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Javier Perez Estevez had both players covered with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. All three players agreed to run it twice. Estevez's pocket-aces held both times shipping him what we believe is the biggest pot thus far in the poker festival of over £20,000.
