Day 2 of the 2016 Cash Game Festival London took off where the first day left off with at peek times 20 tablesof hot ring-game action running simultaneously across a variety of games including no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, and Sviten Special. Later in the day, there was one interesting dealer's choice pot-limit Omaha table where not only could the player with the dealer button choose how many cards players would hold, but how many times the board would run, whether or not there would be a sixth card (or seventh) referred to as an ocean, and whether or not there would be bonus cards added to a player's hand after all rounds of betting were completed. This just goes to show that regardless of what games are running, players can basically decide they want to play whatever they want and whenever they want and be accommodated at the Cash Game Festival.

The day began with a darts competition at Flight Club Darts where both many old faces that competing in previous Cash Game Festivals along with some new ones enjoyed some friendly battles away from the poker tables. The winner of the competition will be announced during a ceremony later in the festival.

The action on the felts was bigger with many £2/£5, £5/£5 and £5/£10 games running throughout the day. There were several huge pots throughout the day on side event tables. Over on the feature table, Spain's Jorge Alberdi came away the big winner ahead almost £2,700 which almost half of which came on a bluff against one of the big winners on yesterday's big feature table in France's Julien Rouxel.

The action did not die down after the feature table ended with 20 tables still in play at 1:00 a.m. Festival organizers expect some of the players to play through the night.

Day 3 will be the biggest day of the festival thus far. The stakes on the early televised feature table will be bumped from £1/£2 to £2/£5, while the bigger game later in the day should produce some monster pots with stakes expected to be at £25/£50.

Before players hit the felts tomorrow, many are expected to join in on two side activities with beer tasting taking place at 4:00 p.m. (BST) and a special dinner taking place two hours later.

Stay tuned at PokerNews for the next three days as we report the hottest action during the 2016 Cash Game Festival London. You will also be able to watch the televised feature tables starting at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on a 20 minute delay here on PokerNews as well as on the Cash Game Festival website and on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel.

Julien Rouxel three bet the preflop action to £250 with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Jorge Alberdi called with {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to create a big pot leading into the flop.

Alberdi checks the {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop and Rouxel quickly fires out a bet of £210. Alberdi with bottom pair tanks before raising to £530 which Rouxel calls growing the pot to £1,600.

Both players checked the action when the {k-Hearts} appeared on the turn. The {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river and without too much delay, Alberdi fired out a bet of £1,200. Although ahead in the hand, Rouxel folded even quicker and paid off his opponent's bluff.

Streaming Action Resumes

Action is expected to be big at the televised feature table which just kicked off with players buying in fairly deep.

France's Julien Rouxel returns to the feature table on seat 1. He played last night and crushed the competition at £2/£5 no-limit hold'em. Today the stakes are double that at £5/£10 and Rouxel bought in for 300 big blinds for £3,000.

United Kingdom's Eric Le Goff in seat 2, also played on yesterday's feature table and bought in for £2,500. Pol Medina Claret is right next to him in seat 3 and bought in for £3,075.

Perhaps the biggest name at the table is in seat 4 in UK's Oliver Price. According to the Hendon Mob, Price has proven himself successful on the live tournament felts with over $1.5 million in career cashes. He is about to prove whether or not his tournament success translates to televised cash games.

Riccardo Suriano is in seat 5 and bought in shorter than the rest of the players for £1,000. The first Dutch player on a feature table this festival joins in on the action in seat 6 with Joost Schippers buying in for £1,500. Spain's Jorge Alberdi rounds off the table and bought in for the biggest amount with a starting stack of £3,800.
