Day 3 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Dublin at the Village Green Card Club has built off the success from the first two days.

Today's feature tables were action-packed with well-known players at both. The first televised feature table was a low-stakes €1/€2 NLHE affair. Gareth McMahon booked the biggest win after booking a profit of €380 or 190 big blinds.

Later in the day, Jason Tompkins won big at the €5/€10 feature table after booking a profit of €1,600 or 160 big blinds. However, Tompkins' win wasn't big enough to put him in the lead in the Cash Game Festival feature table contest where a trophy and a hospitality package for two to the Cash Game Festival Tallinn on Nov. 15-19 at Olympic Park Casino will go to the winner.

Kevin Malone holds the honor of still being in the lead after Day 3 in the feature table contest with his €1,100 win, exactly 550 big blinds, at a €1/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table on Day 2.

Players that won a Cash Game Festival Dublin package or purchased the hospitality package enjoyed a world-class dinner at An Poitin Still. Tomorrow, players with the package will enjoy a night at the dog track.

Good news, bad news for Mark Hammond, who spiced things up by wearing a shark hat.

The bad news was that he lost his stack at the €5/€10 no-limit hold'em feature table and is taking a break before considering whether to hop back in.

The good news is that Hammond's name was randomly drawn to spin the Wheel of Fortune. He was lucky enough to win €50 and his name will go into Sunday's drawing where he can potentially win a Cash Game Festival Tallinn package valued at €1,650.

Village Card Green Card Club Record Tied

There are currently five cash game tables in action, which ties a Village Green Card Club record for the most ring game tables at one time. With people hanging around the bar and more expected to come, there is a good chance this record will be broken shortly.

A couple of more tables should open now that players are coming back from the VIP dinner at An Poitin Still.

Sascha Koal, who is attending his first Cash Game Festival after watching some of the Twitch streams of the feature table, was among the first to come back and he had a huge smile on his face.

"Absolutely amazing dinner," said Koal. "I enjoyed some drinks and really good food. I had some help from Inga (Raudsepp). I ate all of the meat while she ate all of the vegetables.

Raudsepp confirmed this was the case before she shared that she also had her first Guinness ever at the dinner. "I can't believe how light the Guinness was and downed the first one fairly quickly," said Raudsepp. I even finished it before Andro (Loos)."

Black is Back

The €5/€10 no-limit hold'em feature table has just kicked off. Among the players at the table is Irish poker legend Andy Black who has almost $5 million in tournament cashes including a fifth-place finish in the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event for $1.75 million according to The Hendon Mob.

Cash Game Festival veteran Ryan Mullarkey just came to Ireland today from his home in the United Kingdom and is also at the table as is popular Irish player Chris Dowling. To add to the fun, 2014 Irish Open Main Event winner Patrick Clarke is also in the mix.
