Perla Casino regular Federico Drassich was easily the hero of Day 2 of the Cash Game Festival Slovenia. He won around €2,700 on the second feature table (€5/€5 no-limit hold'em), mostly thanks to one hand where he jammed all in with a full-house holding king-nine from Adrien Raiseanu who had two-pair with pocket queens in the hole. This pot was around €4,200 by itself, easily the biggest on the feature tables of the festival thus far.

The day began with many players enjoying fun and excitement at Soca Fun Park. As the afternoon turned into the evening, players began migrating to the poker room to enjoy some poker action.

Tomorrow is expected to be the biggest day thus far in the festival with the weekend approaching. Those with the hospitality package will not only have plenty of cash game poker options to choose from but also be treated to a VIP dinner in the early evening.

As will be the case every day during the festival, live streaming for tomorrow is scheduled at lower stakes at 5:40 p.m. CET and at higher stakes at 8:40 p.m. CET on a 20-minute delay. Brandon Allen will provide the lead commentary with guests popping in and out throughout the two broadcasts.

Stay tuned at PokerNews for the next three days as we report some of the hottest action at the Cash Game Festival Slovenia.

The biggest hand of the Cash Game Festival Slovenia just took place on the televised €5/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table.

Romania's Adrien Raiceanu straddled from under the gun before Italy's Federico Drassich opened with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for €35. Raiceanu holding {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} three-bet to €150 when the action folded to him. Drassich four-bet to €415 and Raiseanu called.

Both players checked after the flop came {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Raiseanu check-called a bet of €375 from Drassich after the {k-Spades} appeared on the turn.

The {9-Clubs} came on the river to give Drassich a full house. He jammed in for around €1,400 which effectively put Raiseanu all in who had around €1,300 behind. Raiseanu called and got up to go the cashier after the dealer shipped a huge pot of €4,200 to Drassich.

Viktoria Lundberg Begins Her Journey as a SlotsMillion Ambassador at the Cash Game Festival

Viktoria Lundberg
Viktoria Lundberg

Viktoria Lundberg has been around poker players for most of the past decade as a dealer. The first time Cash Game Festival regulars came across Lundberg was in the middle of 2016 when she was one of the feature table dealers at the Cash Game Festival Malta.

Lundberg traveled from her home country of Sweden to participate at the Cash Game Festival Slovenia. Instead of dealing cards, she is playing cards and documenting her life and love of video slots as part of her just becoming a SlotsMillion ambassador.

Yesterday, Lundberg appeared on the first feature table of the day. The transition from dealing cards to playing cards isn’t as easy for Lundberg as it might sound.

“It is pretty difficult for me to play poker,” said Lundberg. “I know how to act when I am a dealer in certain situations, however, as a player, I do not have the same expertise as all of my opponents that are always playing. People sometimes say that I should be able to play poker since I have been dealing poker for eight years. However, I feel that is like saying that I should be able to play football because I have been watching it for 14 years. It is not the same thing.”

While Lundberg looked more than confident while playing on yesterday’s feature table, apparently looks can be deceiving.

“Since I haven’t played poker very much, I was very very nervous,” said Lundberg. “This gives away information. I do not know when to bet, when not to bet and when to check.”

Lundberg shared that she likes poker since she enjoys “talking to other players, having a drink, socializing than thinking I could actually win money.”

While Lundberg admitted playing poker is fun, she shared that she enjoys playing slots even more. This is partly because she feels she doesn’t have the same skills as her opponents on the poker tables. Where Lundberg feels with slots, you can play anywhere and anytime with our without any experience.

She also shared that she has no special system in what slots she plays and just plays with what she likes.

“There are people that have the skills in playing slots and have systems,” shared Lundberg. “I don’t have that. I just play the games I find cute or funny. I was just playing the Guns and Roses slots on my stream because I like the music.”

Since becoming a SlotsMillion ambassador, Lundberg has been documenting her life and slots play on her My Little Slots YouTube vlog, on her My Little Slots blog, on her Twitch channel and on a variety of social media including Facebook and Instagram.

“Since I had no experience whatsoever vlogging, streaming on Twitch, or anything like that, it was actually really scary,” Lundberg said. “The first time I was holding a camera and talking to myself, I was so embarrassed thinking that people were looking at me like I was crazy.

“It is getting better and better,” said Lundberg. “I see opportunities to bring out the camera and sometimes I just walk around with it since I never know when something might happen and I don’t want to miss it. I think in a week or two, it will be as normal as picking up my phone.”

Lundberg’s journey as a SlotsMillion Ambassador is just beginning at the Cash Game Festival. She plans to continue to document her life and slots play on her vlog, blog, Twitch channel and social media. She plans to continue with updates for six months before reevaluating.
