The Cash Game Festival Bratislava at Banco Casino is off to a hot start. Day 1 was full of action and a buzz was felt throughout the poker room.

During much of the night, there were seven tables in action with games running in no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha.

The festival began with welcome drinks at 5:30 p.m. CEST. Many players that were at previous festivals were able to reconnect with their poker friends while many others at their first Cash Game Festival were introduced into the ever-expanding Cash Game Festival family.

Cash Game Festival Head of Media Henry Kilbane and Petyo Andonov were commentating the action with guest hosts throughout the evening including Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen.

Peter La Terra, who has been to almost every Cash Game Festival, was the biggest winner at the early €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha table after booking a profit of €1,506 or 753 big blinds. La Terra is now in good shape to win his first Cash Game Festival trophy awarded to the player that wins the most big blinds throughout the 10 feature tables during the festival.

Also booking a big profit at that table was 32Red Poker qualifier Anton Dzhelali. He won a four-figure profit of €1,030 and was excited about his hot start to the festival.
