Driggers KO's Konarske

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Stephen Driggers
Stephen Driggers

All of the chips got into the middle on a flop reading {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} between Eddy Konarske in the small blind and Stephen Driggers, who was on the button.

Eddy Konarske: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Stephen Driggers: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Konarske needed to hit running Broadway outs or running diamonds to stay alive, both of which became an impossibility on the turn {5-Hearts}. The river {4-Clubs} made the hand official and the pot was shipped to Driggers as Konarske was eliminated from the tournament.

Allgeier Showers a Shorty

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Tracy Allgeier
Tracy Allgeier

Tracy Allgeier opened to 6,000 on the button and received a call from the small blind. The big blind re-jammed for 20,000 and Allgeier confirmed the amount before putting in chips to call. The small blind then folded, letting the two have at it.

All-In Player: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Tracy Allgeier: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Barry Greenstein paid Allgeier an unnecessary visit on the runout {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to give him two pair, aces and treys and earn him the pot and the knockout.

Collard Ships It In

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Dwane Collard
Dwane Collard

Action folded around to Kevin Kurtz, who was on the button and opened to 7,000. Dwane Collard called in the small blind and Mike Kester defended his big blind, taking three-way action to the streets.

Collard led out for 6,000 on {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Kester raised to 20,000, nearly one-third of his remaining stack. Kurtz quickly got out of the way thereafter.

"All in," said Collard with action back upon him. Kester thought for about 15 seconds and then let his hand go.

Keeline Runs Into a Bigger Ace

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Matt Livingston and Ben Keeline just played a hand for stacks in which Livingston opened to 6,500 on the button and Ben Keeline re-jammed in the big blind for 55,000 effective. Livingston called.

Livingston's {a-}{k-} was ahead of Keeline's {a-}{7-} and a dry runout left the situation unchanged, earning Livingston the dub at Keeline's expense.
