Third Bullet on Day 2 for Wahl

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

It hasn't been a great start to Day 2 for former Coolbet Open champ Sebastian Wahl but he still has some hope. Mathias Siljander opened to 2,500 in early position before Wahl, who re-entered about five minutes earlier, jammed his short-stack of 5,000.

Andreas Hagen four-bet to 12,200 from the button and Siljander got out of the way.

Andreas Hagen: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Sebastian Wahl: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Wahl just needed to win a flip to triple up but he was unable to get a piece of the {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board and headed back to the tournament desk to fire his third bullet on the first blind level of Day 2.

Hansen Scoops a Monster Pot

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Thomas Hansen
Thomas Hansen

Ivan Skoblov opened from the hijack before he called a bet of 6,700 from Thomas Hansen in the cutoff.

Things got interesting pretty fast after the {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} came on the flop. Skoblov check-raised from 7,700 to 19,000 and Hansen went into the tank continuously staring at Skoblov's stack that was around 100,000 at the start of the hand.

Hansenm who had Skoblov covered, eventually jammed and got a snap call from his opponent.

Thomas Hansen: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Ivan Skoblov: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Hansen was in great shape with an overpair to his opponent's top pair. The {7-Spades} on the turn and the {q-Hearts} on the river gave Hansen a full house and a monster pot.

Jakobsen Ousted on a Bad Beat

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Stian Jakobsen after the {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop. Sami Tuomaala then bet and Jakobsen raised before Tuomaala jammed all-in more than covering the approximately 35,000 Jakobsen had in his stack. Jakobsen called and was ahead with {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} to his opponent's {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Jakobsen was looking good for a double even after the {6-Spades} came on the turn. However, the {9-Clubs} spiked the river to give his opponent two-pair and Jakobsen was among the players to hit the rail shortly after the late-registration period ended.

Hedlund Nails a Boat

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Peter Mikael Hedlund limped from early position before he called a bet of 6,100 from Linda Minh Nguyen from late position.

Both players checked the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop. Hedlund led out for 1,500 after the {8-Spades} came on the turn before Nguyen raised to 15,000.

After a minute Hedlund said he was all-in. Nguyen asked the dealer how much and Hedlund splashed all his chips in front of him.

"You are giving the dealer an easy job," Jens Henrik Riis, who was at the table, said to Hedlund.

Hedlund apologized and a couple of minutes later the dealer confirmed the jam was for 41,500.

Nguyen went into the tank for about five minutes before she made the call. Hedlund turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Nguyen attempted to muck the cards knowing she was drawing dead to a full house.

The {6-Clubs} came on the river and the dealer sent Hedlund the pot. After the hand, one of the players asked to see Hedlund's cards.

The dealer remembered that it was an all-in showdown situation and turned over that Nguyen held {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Hedlund and Riis questioned why Nguyen had to show her cards but they understood after the explanation.

Nguyen Doubles

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Linda Minh Nguyen
Linda Minh Nguyen

Linda Minh Nguyen recently lost most of her stack but she is back in business after a double up.

Vegard Sivertsen opened up to 3,500 from early position before Nguyen jammed for more than 21,000 from the big blind. Sivertsen tanked for two minutes before he made the call.

Linda Minh Nguyen: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Vegard Sivertsen: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Nguyen was behind before the flop but the tables turned after she nailed top pair on the {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop. Neither the {5-Clubs} on the turn nor the {q-Diamonds} on the river were able to get Sivertsen back into the hand and Nguyen found herself a double-up.

Tens No Good for Laukkarinen

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lasse Antero Laukkarinen jammed for less than 10 big blinds from the cutoff and was called by Greger Larsson in the big blind.

Lasse Antero Laukkarinen: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Greger Larsson: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Two players on the table said "runner-runner" after the {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop gave Larsson a set. The table got a little noisy after the {4-Diamonds} came on the turn to open a flush draw for Laukkarinen but the {9-Hearts} on the river quieted the table down and Larsson picked up the pot.
