A smirk by Salmirinne followed and he tossed his cards into the muck.

Table five had already seen one elimination with Orvar Gudmundsson and Rasmus Sihvonen benefitting the most so far. Mihkel Vitsur entered recently and chipped up to then take on Gudmundsson in a larger pot to the 9♦5♣5♠3♦4♥ river.

With 13,000 in the middle, Gudmundsson bet 6,000 out of the small blind. Vitsur tanked for nearly two minutes, even said "strong hand" before opting to fold.

Hjörtur Davidsson folded after the 8♦4♣4♥ flop when Marita Nilsen got it in against Asgeir Lund and showed the 10♣10♦. Lund had the equally strong 10♥10♠ and they chopped after the 4♦3♥ runout.

Davidsson pointed to the board and said he folded an eight.

Before the next hand was dealt, Nilsen was moved to a new table while Jon Thorvaldsson then busted.

Jon Thorvaldsson re-entered to table five which had a stacked line-up already. In one of the first hands there, he saw a flop of K♦9♥7♣ on which Mihkel Vitsur check-raised from 2,000 to 8,000. Thorvaldsson then pushed all-in and Vitsur called after a few seconds of consideration.
