Arstad Bets Big on the Turn

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

The turn showed 975A and Sergei Oganesjan checked over to Christian Arstad, who bet 4,000. While Oganesjan was in the tank, Arstad exclaimed "this is a turn I should bet big".

Oganesjan called and they checked the 3 on the river, both flashing an ace.

"Showdown please," the dealer demanded and Arstad revealed his AJ. That won the pot, as Oganesjan only had A8.

Turpeinen Doesn't Bluff

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a completed board of Q96AJ with around 20,000 in the middle, Esa Turpeinen pushed all-in for 15,300. Edgar Blomso, who had just entered in the break, eventually called on the button.

Turpeinen showed 99 for a set and Blomso tapped the table in defeat, briefly flashed the A5 and said "I thought you were bluffing".

Blomso was down to 7,000 and jammed soon after, Juho Santala called in the small blind.
