Suominen Quadruples Last Three Blinds

Mario Jürgens raised to 9,000 and Keimo Suominen jammed for the last 12,000 from the hijack. Ingvill Nilsen called in the cutoff and Ott-Kaarli Toome then reraised to 42,000 out of the small blind. Jürgens folded and Nilsen also quickly let go.

While his opponent was in the tank, Suominen said "you can fold".

Väistö grimaced and said "that's an option" but sigh-called half a minute later.

The J♠6♠4♥ flop was quite safe for Suominen while the 9♦ turn suddenly gave his opponent several outs. However, the "lucky sixes" of Suominen - he had earlier doubled via two outer with them - appeared also with the 6♣ river to secure his double.

One of them is Andre Mägi, who had just dispatched Miko Mannisto from Finland. The latter jammed the A♣K♥6♠5♣ turn with A♠6♦ only to get snapped off by Mägi with the A♦K♣ for the top two pair. No miracle came with the 2♥ river to send Mannisto out.

On the tail end of a A♣5♦5♠2♣A♠ board, Birgir Ellingsen checked out of the small blind. Ole Roulund bet 60,000 in the cutoff and was snap-called to show the 8♣7♣ for a bluff with a missed flush draw. Ellingsen won the pot with the A♥10♣ and Roulund was left with a mere 13 blinds.
