Suominen Quadruples Last Three Blinds

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mario Jürgens raised to 9,000 and Keimo Suominen jammed for the last 12,000 from the hijack. Ingvill Nilsen called in the cutoff and Ott-Kaarli Toome then reraised to 42,000 out of the small blind. Jürgens folded and Nilsen also quickly let go.

Keimo Suominen: KJ All in
Ott-Kaarli Toome: AK

Suominen already put on his jacked and stood up from the chair. The oldest trick in live poker worked as he improved to trips on the J638J runout.

Rolf Woods raised to 8,500 and then called the three-bet shove by Mateusz Jablonski for 50,500.

Mateusz Jablonski: 88 All in
Rolf Woods: AK

The winner of the Warm-Up remained ahead all the way on the 9759J board to stay in contention. At almost the same time, Ranno Sootla busted and headed out of the tournament area.

Another Double for Suominen

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Keimo Suominen
Keimo Suominen

Joni Väistö raised to 8,000 and Keimo Suominen pushed all-in for 45,000 out of the big blind.

While his opponent was in the tank, Suominen said "you can fold".

Väistö grimaced and said "that's an option" but sigh-called half a minute later.

Keimo Suominen: AA All in
Joni Väistö: Q10

The J64 flop was quite safe for Suominen while the 9 turn suddenly gave his opponent several outs. However, the "lucky sixes" of Suominen - he had earlier doubled via two outer with them - appeared also with the 6 river to secure his double.

Winther Is Coming Back; Paasonen Is Not

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Hans Winther
Hans Winther

Hans Winther raised to 10,000 and Mika Paasonen then three-bet jammed for 66,000 out of the big blind.

The start of day chip leader sighed and went into the tank. "Anyone but you," he said but eventually called anyways.

Mika Paasonen: AJ All in
Hans Winther: AQ

The superior kicker reigned supreme on the K963Q board for Paasonen to bust. Winther had been struggling as of lately but bounced back to an average stack.

Mägi in Cruise Control

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Miko Mannisto
Miko Mannisto

Table 12 currently features two open seats, six players from Estonia and one from Denmark. Kasper Wurtz is hanging in there but several local contenders have a ton of chips at their disposal.

One of them is Andre Mägi, who had just dispatched Miko Mannisto from Finland. The latter jammed the AK65 turn with A6 only to get snapped off by Mägi with the AK for the top two pair. No miracle came with the 2 river to send Mannisto out.

Tanel Merida shipped his last 18 or so big blinds into the middle with the A2 and was looked up by Esko Brandt, who held the 99.

Also no longer in contention are Marko Hynynen, Andres Vilhjalmsson, and Joni Väistö.
