Valakos Nearly Triples Up, Eliminates Cowen

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tina Bajric raised to 20,000 as first to act, after which Robert Cowen three-bet to 70,000 in the hijack. Big blind Spyridon Valakos then four-bet to 238,000, which Bajric called.

Cowen called all-in for 170,000 total, after which Valakos shoved his remaining 96,000 in before he had seen the flop. It came K105, and Bajric called off after some deliberation.

"Appie" Can Not Find Outs

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

"Appie" had been put all-in preflop by Lautaro Guerra in the big blind, and he called off their stack of 155,000 once it had folded back to him on the button.

"Appie": AK109 All in
Lautaro Guerra: KK54

The 3Q6 flop gave "Appie" a flush draw, while the 9 turn paired him up for even more outs. However, the 8 river stopped improving his hand and he was sent out late on Day 1a.
