David Carballas moved all in for 405,000 under the gun as action folded to Carlos Esquerdo, who called in the big blind.
David Carballas: Q♣J♠
Carlos Esquerdo: 6♠6♥
Carballas was flipping for his tournament life but found no help on the 3♠10♣3♣5♥8♥ board as Esquerdo won the pot with two pair to send Carballas to the rail in 12th place.
Christopher Arpal raised to 55,000 on the button and Teddy Kamel and Antoine Nicoli came along from the blinds.
The flop came 3♥2♠3♦ and Arpal continued for 75,000. Only Nicoli called to see the J♥ turn.
Arpal then bet another 90,000, Nicoli moved all in for 290,000, and Arpal snap-called. Nicoli showed 5♠3♠ for trips, but Arpal had 2♦2♣ for a flopped full house.
The river was the Q♠ and Nicoli was sent to the rail on the brutal cooler in 13th place.
Sanjay Haran moved all in for 380,000 in early position and Cedric Jaby called in the small blind.
Sanjay Haran: A♦7♣
Cedric Jaby: A♥Q♥
Haran hit the 7♥ on the flop, but it was followed by the K♦Q♦ as Jaby made a pair of queens. The board ran out 2♠Q♠ and Jaby finished with trips to win the pot.
The stacks were counted down and Jaby barely had Haran covered, sending him to the rail in 14th place.
Carlos Esquerdo raised to 55,000 in the hijack before Mark Buckley moved all in for 550,000 in the big blind. Esquerdo tanked for a moment before calling.
Mark Buckley: A♣9♦
Carlos Esquerdo: 8♠8♥
Buckley was flipping for his tournament life but couldn't connect with the 5♦4♠Q♠4♥6♠ board.
"Vamos," Esquerdo yelled out as his eights held up to send Buckley to the rail in 15th place.
Andre Carvalho moved all in for his last 50,000 on the button and was called by Fernando Santa Maria in the big blind and Jose Rodriguez in early position.
The flop came 7♥3♠6♣ and Rodriguez bet 40,000. Santa Maria called to create a side pot, but folded to another bet of 150,000 from Rodriguez on the 2♣ turn.
Rodriguez then showed 3♦3♣ for a flopped set and Carvalho turned over J♦J♣. The 7♦ fell on the river and Carvalho became the third bustout at this table within the first 10 minutes of action.
On the first hand of Day 3, Mark Buckley raised to 40,000 from middle position and Jaskirat Singh Bindra called in the hijack, as did big blind Jose Rodriguez.
The flop came 2♣3♦5♣ and action checked to Bindra who bet 60,000. Only Rodriguez called as the K♥ fell on the turn.
Bindra then bet 175,000 and Rodriguez moved all in. Bindra snap-called and showed 3♣3♥ for a set. Rodriguez, though, had 5♠5♥ for a higher set.
The river came the J♣ and Bindra got up from his seat to make his exit. A count of the chips revealed Rodriguez had 545,000 remaining and Bindra had him covered by just 25,000.
The next hand, Andre Carvalho raised to 50,000 under the gun, Buckley called, and Bindra threw in his last chip. Antonio Perez then three-bet to 150,000 in the hijack.
Carvalho came back with an all-in shove, Buckley folded, and Perez snap-called for 480,000.
Jaskirat Singh Bindra: 9♠6♦
Antonio Perez: A♦A♣
Andre Carvalho: A♥K♠
"Good luck, nine-six," Carlos Esquerdo told Bindra heading to the board, which came 2♥8♠Q♣K♠6♠. Perez doubled off Carvalho, while Bindra was sent out in 18th place.
