David Salituro
Live ReporterPokerNews Live Reporter David Salituro is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He joined PokerNews in 2021 and has had the opportunity to cover multiple WSOPs, EPTs, and Merit Poker events.
David studied history at the University of Toronto and earned a journalism degree from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. After seeing Joe Hachem win the Main Event on TV, he became interested in poker and began playing heads-up matches against his brother on his couch. His poker highlight was finishing runner-up out of 9,375 players in the Full Tilt Daily Dollar tournament in February 2010.
When he's not on the road covering poker tournaments, David can be found attending Toronto Blue Jays baseball games and writing about the team for JaysJournal.com.
