Moldoveanu Makes a Big Fold

Ionut Dragomir opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and Marius Moldoveanu three-bet to 65,000 from the button. Moldoveanu then four-bet to 185,000, sending Moldoveanu deep into the tank.

After roughly two minutes Moldoveanu folded A♦Q♠ face up. Dragomir flashed the K♠K♦ in his hand as he dragged in a nice pot without having to see a flop.

Despite the minor setback Moldoveanu has been building a monster stack over the last few levels and currently leads the field.

Jaime opened to 16,000 from early position and received a call from Angel Rodriguez in middle position before Manuel Ledesma three-bet to 45,000 from late position. Alexey Neofitov put in a four-bet to 95,000 from the blinds, folding out Jaime and Rodriguez while Ledesma made the call.

The flop came 8♠7♦2♠. Neofitov bet 55,000, Ledesma moved all in and Neofitov, who had roughly 80,000 behind, made the call and was at risk.

"Yes!" Neofitov exclaimed, standing up from his seat upon seeing how far ahead he was with his overpair. The K♦ turn gave Ledesma a flush draw which came in on the 9♦ river to send Neofitov to the rail in brutal fashion while Ledesma scooped a massive pot.

With two players seeing a board of 3♦6♣4♣2♥8♣ and roughly 140,000 already in the middle, Matthew Gray bet 80,000 from the big blind, leaving 20,000 behind. Ahmed Abdella moved all in for 94,000 and Gray made the call.

Gray showed down 8♠5♠ for a straight but Abdella turned over 10♣9♣ for a flush to take the pot and leave Gray with just under two big blinds. Gray would be eliminated shortly afterwards.
