Philippe D'Auteuil Doubles Through Antony Lellouche

We have an all in on the very first hand!

Philippe D'Auteuil raised to 80,000 from the small blind, Antony Lellouche moved all in from the big blind, and D'Auteuil insta-called

D'Auteuil {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Lellouche {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

The flop came down{8-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {2-Clubs}, Lellouche's fours still in the lead. The {J-Clubs} on the turn opened up a flush draw for D'Auteuil, and the {3-Clubs} on the river filled it. D'Auteuil took down the pot with a fist pump and doubled up to 896,000. Lellouche fell to 525,000.

All In First Hand!

I always felt as though the first hand of a final table will set the tone for the remainder of the tournament. It was sort of refreshing to see an all in on the first hand. We love juiced action. Especially at the final table. It makes for great televised entertainment.

After Philippe D'Auteuil doubled up, his mates on the rail began chanting and cheering. Although it's a dreary rainy Sunday afternoon n London, the poker room in the Vic has a definite festive atmosphere.

Johannes Strassmann Doubles Through Antony Lellouche

Johannes Strassmann raised to 80,000, Antony Lellouche reraised to 230,000, Strassmann moved all in and Lellouche called.

Strassmann {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Lellouche {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}

The flop was {8-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {2-Clubs}. The {4-Clubs} on the turn gave Lellouche a straight draw but the {K-Spades} on the river was of no help to him. Strassmann doubled to 901,000 and Lellouche was reduced to only 222,000.

Lellouche Takes Another Hit

Antony Lellouche's stack is under assault. Inside of two hands, the high stakes cash game player from France bled over 1 million chips after he doubled up two opponents. He lost a race in the first hand of the tournament and just ran into Aces. Tough start for Lellouche but despite his misfortune, he does not appear rattled at all despite the fact he's now the shortstack. The hunter went to being the hunted.
