Woody "Decks" Opponent; Approaches 100k

Woody Deck
Woody Deck
T6Poker pro Woody Deck has picked up right where he left off yesterday and seems to be vacuuming up his opponent's chips each time he enters a pot. Most recently, he added another 10,000 to his stack after slow-playing a set against an unassuming opponent and now sits with just under 100,000 in chips which puts him in the top five overall.

Josh Arieh Sniffs Out a Bluff

On a flop of {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Josh Arieh checked, the cutoff bet 1,900 and Arieh made the call. The turn was the {2-Spades} and both players checked. The river was the {K-Clubs}. Arieh checked, the cutoff bet 2,200 and Arieh studied his opponent for a bit before making the call.

"You got it," said the cutoff player, mucking his cards as Arieh turned up {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} and dragged the pot.

Shaun Deeb Rivers a Flush; Calls Himself a Vagina

Internet pro and active 2+2'er Shaun Deeb just took down a fairly big pot courtesy of a rivered flush and engaged in a bit of self-deprecation in the process.

On a board showing {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, Deeb passed the first action to an unknown opponent who fired a 2,500 bet; Shaun just called. A third club fell off on the river and Deeb passed once more, allowing his opponent to dictate the action. The unknown turned it up a notch, firing a 6,000 bullet that sent Deeb into the tank.

While Shaun considered his decision, a player not involved in the hand decided it would be a good time to share his gum and proceeded to fire a few pieces across the table, landing one piece next to Deeb's chips. Shaun, unaffected by the gum slinger, studied his opponent and then his opponent's chips before saying something along the lines of, "I'm gonna be the biggest vagina ever and just call," as he tossed in the required chips and flipped over {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flush; his opponent showed A-K for a losing two pair.

Kravchenko Doubles Through Arieh

Alex Kravchenko
Alex Kravchenko
On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades} T6 Poker pro Alex Kravchenko put the last of his chips into the middle against Josh Arieh who went into the tank before eventually making a resigned call.

Arieh: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Kravchenko: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The turn and river landed {8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Kravchenko earns a handy double up to progress to around 40,000 chips.

Hachem's House of Chips

Joe Hachem
Joe Hachem
As the media started to linger around table four, we caught the action on the river where it appear Joe Hachem had made a check-raise on the river against his opponent. The board read {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and the pot was already sizable as the 4,000 bet on the river by the player on the button had been check-raised to 10,000 by Hachem from the cutoff. The button thought for a few moments about making a move, but eventually mucked his {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} face up for a draw that didn't deliver. Hachem then flashed {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for a rivered full house!

Hachem is now hovering around the 70,000 chip mark and has been joined at his table by fellow PokerStars.com pro Chad Brown.

Alexia Portal Takes One Off Marc Goodwin

Actress Alexia Portal
Actress Alexia Portal
Marc Goodwin opened the pot for 1,700 and Alexia Portal made the call. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Goodwin immediately fired out a continuation bet of 3,200, and Portal, in her lilting French accent just as quickly said, "I raise," eliciting a cringe from Goodwin. She tossed out 8,000 and Goodwin flashed his A-K before mucking his cards.

"Ace-queen?" inquired Goodwin. And with a sly smile, Alexia flashed that very hand as she stacked up the pot.

Marcel Luske Hoarding the Greens

Don't Touch My Greens!
Don't Touch My Greens!
Having acquired every single green 25-denomination chip on his table, Marcel Luske was refusing to give his tablemates change so they could post the antes! The tournament staff instead had to bring additional greens over to Luske's table so the game could continue.

According to sources on the floor, this is typical for Luske. The man loves the look of a big stack, I suppose.
