Misclick

Shaun Deeb minraised to 400 and the cutoff flat-called before the button reraised to 1,400. Deeb was only playing around 10,000 or so and eventually elected to fold, the cutoff also passed.

The button exclaimed, "I misclicked! I meant to make it 1,900 but threw in one chip less.

He then showed {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

Do You Feel Lacay Punk?

With the board reading {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {A-Hearts}, both Ludovic Lacay and his button opponent checked the turn before Lacay bet 1,250 on the seemingly blank {2-Spades} river. He was raised to 3,500 though and Lacay looked disgusted before folding after a couple of minutes.

"Set of deuces?" said the Frenchman, "that's all I was losing too..."

Jesus Sends Out The Hail Mary 5-Bet

Chris Ferguson raised to 500 in middle position and Ludovic Lacay made it 1,700 behind him. Then the button decided to reraise to 4,000.

The action was back on the behatted former Main Event winner, who reraised to 10,000. Lacay folded quickly and the button shrugged, also folding.

Coren-dous Lack of Respect for Vicky's River Bet

Vicky Coren: Been Here, Won This
Vicky Coren: Been Here, Won This
Vicky Coren, herself an alumna of London EPT Winners' College, is used to playing about 20 metres down the road, in the Victoria Casino, the prior home of London's EPT stop. But she's still on familiar turf here on the Edgware road, and plugging away through the early levels with what looks like 20,200 of her starting stack remaining.

Just now she had a double dose of in-position non-believers adding a few thousand to her stack - she was in the big blind, and saw a threeway flop of {10-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {6-Clubs} . She check-called a bet of 500 from an in-position opponent, along with one other player.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} - checks all round.

The river was the {Q-Spades} and now Coren led out 600. Both of her opponents called.

"Straight," she said, showing {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds} for just that. The others mucked and she took the pot.

Schwartz Sparks Shoves

With such impressive starting stacks and their accompanying promise of all the play you can take, it's always surprising how fast the whole lot can get in the middle.

Just now Luke Schwartz, presumably a general action generator on his table, made it 450 to go in early position. This was calmly threebet and called by another player in the blinds, while Schwartz passed and sat back to watch what followed.

The blinds player bet out the {9-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} flop, raised to 5,075 by the cutoff. He called.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} which prompted a pretty much instant shove from Early Player and the same sort of call from Late Player. So what could have sparked such a frenzy?

Early Player: {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}
Late Player: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}

The river came a black brick and they chopped the pot while the table looked on disinterestedly. This must be happening with some frequency, then, around the room.

Battle Of Britain?

Chris Moorman has just been moved to the left of Luke 'Fullflush' Schwartz. Are we about to see a big battle between the UK's best online tournament player and high stakes poker's most controversial figure?
