Welcome to Day 3

Good morning once again, and welcome back to our continuing coverage of the PokerStars.com EPT Prague. The final 95 players are just about set for Day 3, and it figures to be a good one. We still have a ton of big names in contention, and they'll likely be looking to assert themselves on this push towards a big payday. The money bubble is just 15 eliminations away, and the tentative plan is to play down to the final three tables of eight before calling it a night.

We're ready to go in just a few minutes. The players are trickling into the room, and the staff is hurriedly handing out the chip bags. We'll be right back when the cards go in the air.

Brosolo Running Hot

Yann Brosolo
Yann Brosolo
Overnight chip leader Yann Brosolo continued his good run as he found himself looking at a {2-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {9-Hearts} flop from the small blind. He checked and big blind Kimmo Kurko bet 11,500. Brosolo shoved, Kurko insta-called, and they were on their backs.

Kurko: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Brosolo: {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs}

Turn: bink! {5-Clubs}
River: {6-Spades}

Naujoks Crashes Out

Disaster for Sandra Naujoks and all her many fans around the room (it's quite testosterone-heavy in there, after all).

She got her whole stack in preflop with pocket tens, but found herself up against Bruno Launais' pocket aces. She flopped a set - but he turned a higher set, and she hit the rail.

Board: {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Lellouche Loses Ground

Antony Lellouche
Antony Lellouche
Juha Lauttamus opened to 11,200 from middle position, and Bruno Launais put in the call next door. Action came around to Antony Lellouche's small blind, and he announced a reraise: "Twenty-nine more." It was 40,200 straight, but Lauttamus still wanted to play for more, grabbing his stacks of 158,800 and shoving them forward. Launais got the point and ducked out, and Lellouche just took a quick pause to consider before calling, putting his opponent at risk.

Showdown
Lauttamus: {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}
Lellouche: {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

The flop was big trouble for Lauttamus, coming down {10-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} to leave him drawing dead to his gutshot straight. The turn {9-Hearts} changed nothing, but the river changed quite a bit. The {J-Clubs} peeled off, filling in that straight and shipping a big double up over to the Finn. He's got a little more than twice as many chips as he had just a moment ago, and Lellouche has seen his stack cut to about 190,000.

Hot French-on-French Action

Nicolas Levi raised under the and got looked up by fellow Frenchie Guillaume Darcourt on the button.

They saw a {2-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} flop and Levi bet out 14,500 - only for Darcourt to make it 34,000 to go. Back to Levi, who thought about it long enough for whole hands to come and go on neighbouring tables - before making it 79,500.

Now it was Darcourt's turn to tank. "You show, Nico?" he asked eventually. Levi merely looked enigmatic. Eventually Darcourt folded, and Levi took the pot.

Rui Cao'd

Rui Cao has not managed to make his enormo-stack grow any bigger just yet. Last we checked up on him, he was betting out 26,500 on the turn of an {A-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {5-Clubs} board - but then he folded instantly to a raise from Andrej Nagy.
