He asked for a count of Mikovic's stack (620k) before deciding to flat call. Even the big blind contemplated getting in on the action, but after a minute, he folded. Mikovic folded as well, and it was time for showdown. Waterman was at risk and in bad shape with {A-Clubs}

Dhorasoo Takes a Hit

PokerStars player Kevin Macphee found his stack in the middle holding two nines. Vikash Dhorasoo was his opponent and he held the best of it with two queens, for now at least.

We say for now, because the board was run out {A-Spades}

and Macphee spiked a nine on the river to stay alive. He was all in for 294,000 and now has over 600,000. Dhorasoo dropped to 650,000.

Dhorasoo formerly player professional soccer in France where he was a midfielder. He played for the French national team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In 2009, Dhorasoo placed eleventh in the WCOOP Main Event on PokerStars for $75,000.

Jorgensen Can Play, Too

After a player opened to 26,000, Theo Jorgensen reraised to 72,000. The original raiser than made it 176,000 to go and Jorgensen moved all in for about 550,000 total. After some time in the tank, his opponent mucked and Jorgensen showed the powerful {K-Hearts}

for a light five-bet shove to rake in a lot of chips preflop.

Reckeweg Rebuilding

Roland Reckeweg jumped up to 1.3 million chips at the end of the last level, but it didn't take him very long to blow through more than half of them. Now he's doing his best to get them back. We missed the preflop action, but there was already close to 100,000 in the pot by the time he got to the {A-Spades}

flop with Stephan Huber, the current chip leader. Reckeweg bet 140,000, and Huber called. The turn was the {8-Clubs}

, and Reckeweg moved all in. Huber tanked a bit and let his hand go, shipping the giant pot to Reckeweg.

Roland is not at his former glory, but his is back to 800,000. Huber is down to 1.33 million but still leading the pack.

Showing Gorodetskiy Who's Boss

PokerStars online qualifier Ilya Gorodetskiy raised to 28,000 and then fellow PokerStars qualifier Simon Boss reraised all in for 444,000. After a minute in the tank, Gorodetskiy mucked and slipped a tad to 810,000. Boss moved up to 497,000.

River Min-raise Fails for Luske

Theo Jorgensen raised to 31,000 from early position and Marcel Luske flat-called in late position, bringing the two players to the flop of {Q-Spades}

. Both players checked and then the turn was dealt the {2-Hearts}

. Jorgensen fired 45,000 on fourth street and Luske called.

The river was the {6-Hearts}

and Jorgensen fired 100,000. After some time, Luske opted for the min-raise and made it 200,000. Jorgensen made the call and beat Luske's {A-Hearts}

Strauss Under 10 BBs Thanks to Oliveira

From middle position, Carlos Oliveira raised to 26,000 before action folded around to the player in the small blind. That player was Alexander Strauss and he made the call.

Strauss and Oliveira saw the flop come down {K-Spades}

with Straus first up. He checked over to Oliveira, who fired a continuation bet of 32,000. Strauss had 148,000 in his stack and made the call.

The turn card was the {4-Diamonds}

and Strauss checked. Oliveira didn't slow down and fired out 48,000. After a minute in the tank, Strauss let his hand go and Oliveira picked up the pot to move up to 455,000. Strauss was left with 116,000.
