Thomas Finneran is up to 60,000 now after polishing off Robert Altman with a timely Ace-spike. The betting was all preflop - Finneran putting the shorter stack to the test with a re-raise which looked like a four-bet would not shift it into a fold. Indeed, when Altman moved in, he was immediately called, and probably fairly happy about it:
Altman:

You know what comes next: the harmless flop but then the turn and river sending Altman to the rail. He displayed not an eyebrow twitch - simply placidly letting his friend know he was out before sauntering from the tournament arena like he'd just come in here for a rest anyhow.
Oleksander Vaserfirer has lost some of his substantial stack, but not enough to cause him much worry.
On a flop that read , Vaserfirer bet 2,500 when the big blind checked to him. After a 20 second pause, the big blind made the call.
With the arrival of the on the turn, the big blind checked again. Vaserfirer took another look at his hole cards and promptly made a bet of 5,100 chips. With no movement other than to grab a handful of chips, his opponent announced raise and put 16,500 worth of chips across the betting line. After a double check of his cards and a couple of seconds of resting his head in his hands, Vaserfirer mucked.
Another giganto-stack as we head towards the last break of the day is [Removed:297]. Most recently he cracked pocket kings with pocket fives, and is at 138,000.
Team PokerStars pro Marcin Horecki is showing his dedication to the game. Not only has he managed to go from 25,000 chips to 80,000 in the last half hour but he has managed to do so whilst playing the $109 No Limit Hold'em Central & Eastern European COOP-005 on PokerStars on his laptop!
If you want to rail him search for "Goral" and you should see he is around 192nd from 287 remaining players. Good luck sir
Nicolas Babel seems unstoppable right now, with the Frenchman hoovering up chips like they are going out of fashion, his latest victim being Oleksander Vaserfirer.
Vaserfirer raised first in from the button to 2,200 and then called the re-raise to 8,500 from Babel. The latter then check called Vaserfirer's 9,500 bet on a flop reading .
The on the turn seemed to wake up Babel who picked up a pile of chips worth 18,500 and bet them, which seemed to rock Vaserfirer. After around 90 seconds, Vaserfirer let his hand go, and with it Babel's stack grew to around 192,000.
Wow, talk about running hot! Nicolas Babel is now up above the 200,000 mark, his spiking on the flop against his all-in opponent's pocket jacks in a preflop showdown to put him head and shoulders above the next man.
