Chip leader Nicolas Chouity checked the flop to Emanuele Rugini, who bet 155,000. Chouity then check-raised to 400,000, though, and Rugini gave up the pot.
Sami Kelopuro raised in the cutoff and then called a reraise from Nicolas Chouity to see a flop. Kelopuro check-called another 355,000 from Chouity, and they proceeded with 1.4 million in the pot.
Both players checked the turn and then Kelopuro bet out 575,000 on the river. Chouity called, and they revealed their cards.
Kelopuro:
Chouity:
The 2,545,000 pot was shipped to Chouity, who increased his chip-leading stack to 5.9 million. Kelopuro was left with 1 million.
Iannone - 15th place
Domenico Iannone opened to 125,000 under the gun and Matt Perrins reraised to 310,000. Everyone else passed, Iannone called, and they saw a flop.
Both players checked the flop and come the turn Iannone moved all in. Perrins called instantly, as he had a full house.
Perrins:
Iannone: drawing dead with
River: a completely inconsequential .
Laurent Olive was moved into Iannone's former seat a few moments later.
Laurent Olive - 13th
Laurent Olive raised to 200,000 in the small blind, essentially committing himself. Dominykas Karmazinas set him in from the big blind and Olive called.
Matt Perrins raised for a slighty-more-than-minimum 105,000 under the gun and Josef Klinger was the only caller.
Perrins bet out 130,000 on the flop and Klinger called before both players checked the turn. Perrins checked again on the river and now Klinger bet 350,000. Perrins counted out the call, studying Klinger's face for a reaction as he did so, but eventually folded.
After the pot had been pushed over to Klinger, he claimed he'd had offsuit. Perrins did not seem to believe him, and good-naturedly needled him about what else he might have had. "Pair of nines? Pair of jokers?"
