We joined the hand on the flop but it looks as though Konstantin Bücherl had raised from the hijack and Paul Berende defended his big blind. The flop was 
and the action was checked around to the turn which was the 
. Again both players checked and the dealer gave us the 
. Berende bet 2,575 and Bücherl started grinning like a cheshire cat before throwing in a yellow chip to make the call. Berende turned over 
and a rather embarrassed looking Bücherl turned over the 
for his rivered full-house and he took down a well needed pot.
Breaking Up is Hard to Do

Bücherl Everything He's Got
Konstantin Bücherl just triple barreled finding his stack now such that the final bet on the river was all-in. Threeway with Paul Berende and Markus Golser to a 
flop, Bücherl bet 1,225 when the others checked to him, and only Berende made the call. He bet again on the 
turn - this time 2,000 - and Berende called once more.
The river was the 
and now Berende checked for the third time, facing a fairly swift shove from Bücherl who had exactly 10,125 left. Berende thought for a good while, counting out the call (he had around 28k) and rolling it over, before finally reabsorbing those chips back in his stack and throwing his hand away, shaking his head in what looked like mild frustration.
Bücherl meanwhile, thanks to his mid-stage fearlessness, rises to 18k.

From court star to poker star Michael Skender has just eliminated someone and this is how it went down. The eliminated player limped from the hijack position and Skender made it 2,200 from the cut-off. Everyone folded around to the player in the hijack who made the call. The flop was 
and the action was checked to the turn. The turn was the 
and the player in the hijack checked. Skender made it 2,500 and his opponent min check-raised him to 5,000. This left him with about 10,000 behind.
Skender made the call and the river was the 
. Once again his opponent bet, this time making it 7,000 leaving some short change behind. Skender picked up a pile of yellow chips and slam dunked them onto the table to put his opponents tournament on the line - he made the call and showed the giant German 
for trips but the German showed him 
for the straight and sent his opponent packing.
River Quossing
A tidy pot for Fabian Quoss just now courtesy (in all likelihood) of a confidence-boosting river which gave him a full house. The board had run out with a couple of Jacks on it:

on the river he got a raise in (6,200) vs. Ruben Robinson who led out and then made the call. When Quoss showed his 
he got a hint of an eyeroll and a decent addition to his stack.

Lights, Cameras, Action!
With blinds now at 150/300 Markus Golser opened this hand with a raise of 800 from early position. Bruce Atkinson, who has been having a very successful 2010, called from the cut off. Konstantin Bucherl called from the button and so did Arnaud Mattern from the small blind.
The flop was 
and Mattern checked before Golser put out a bet of 2,200. Atkinson called immediately and then a light went on inside the head of Bucherl who went into the tank. After a while and a few mutterings of numbers under his breath he plonked a pile of his chips onto the felt in front of him which only left three solitary yellow chips in front of him and one green chip on his cards - 15,025 in total. The Dealer spread the bet out for the table to see and it equated to 26,500. This lead to a stampede of cameras and Mattern and Golser folded before Atkinson made the call.
The turn was 
and Atkinson rapped his knuckles on the felt to indicate a check. Almost in sync Bucherl did the same. The river was a and again Atkinson pressed his knuckles to the felt.

. Atkinson turned over an action that drew several gasps from around the table. Bucherl now joins Mattern as the two short stacks on table 20.
