Tureniec: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Flop: {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} - possibilities swirled for the all-in Khan

River: {7-Hearts}

Tureniec rises to 1,300,000.

Swedes in Every Hand

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Nikolas Liakos who has only been shoving since being crippled by John Eames built up his stack enough that he tried a min-raise to 60,000 but John Eames set him all-in from the blinds and the Swede quickly folded.

The next hand saw Liakos do the same thing and this time he won the blinds and antes.

John Eames opened to 65,000 from the button before Michael Tureniec made it 175,000 in the small blind, Linde got out of the way and Eames folded also.

Tureniec opened to 65,000 from the button and Per Linde called from the small blind but big blind Liakos folded. Both players checked the {K-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} flop and Linde quickly fired 75,000 on the {4-Spades} turn, Tureniec slowly called to see a {Q-Spades} river. This was now checked down, Linde showed {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts} which was good.

Eames Continues to Run Good

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

A 65,000 raise from John Eames under the gun was called by Per Linde on the button. But all hopes of a big confrontation between the two chip leaders were dashed when Eames check-folded to an 80,000 bet from Linde on the {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop.

---

Next hand, Eames more than recovered that small loss. It folded around to Kevin Iacofano in the small blind, who limped. Eames checked his option an they saw a flop.

Both players checked the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and they saw a {5-Clubs} turn, on which Iacofano bet out 50,000. Eames flat-called. The river came down the {k-Hearts} and this time Iacofano checked. Eames bet 115,000 which Iacofano called, but he mucked when Eames turned over {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for the wheel. Run better, John Eames!

Iacofano Can't Get Tureniec Off King-High

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Tureniec raised to 63,000 from the cutoff and Kevin Iacofano defended in the big blind to see a {Q-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {3-Spades} flop. Tureniec bet bet 82,000 and Iacofano made the call to see a {9-Spades} turn which both players checked. The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Iacofano now bet out 160,000.

Tureniec looked concerned, enough to take his sunglasses off for the first time this tournament, it looked as though he was going to fold but then cut out the chips and made the call. Iacofano showed his counterfeited {8-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Tureniec won with {K-Diamonds} {7-} to keep himself in the hunt.

Tureniec Doubles With the Eames Hand

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Michael Tureniec

This time it was John Eames himself who suffered at the hands of the cowboys. A blind on blind battle started with a raise from Eames to 110k in the small - Tureniec calling in the big.

The flop brought {4-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and a lead of 135k from Eames. This was called swiftly by the Swede.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and now Eames bet out 275k. Tureniec pushed forward his whole stack - 1,340,000 total, and then sat inscrutably behind his pitch black sunglasses. Eames considered this, and finally threw in the call.

Tureniec: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Eames: {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The river {J-Spades} was not an outdraw card and Eames lets a dangerous player back in the game.

Liakos Doubles Through Iacofano

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

John Eames opened to 85,000 from UTG and Per Linde made it 235,000 on the button but I doubt either was expecting Kevin Iacofano 4-betting all-in from the big blind for 1,185,000. Eames quickly folded and Linde looked nonplussed but folded also.

The next hand saw Nikalos Liakos moved all-in for 550,000 from the button and Kevin Iacofano had a decision to make from the small blind, counting out his chips, a call representing half his stack. But he made the call and Eames quickly folded in the big blind. Liakos found a great spot having turned over {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} which dominated Iacofano's {K-Hearts} {J-Spades} and the board came {5-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} to secure a double up over the million mark.
