Swede, Eames Are Made of These

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

John Eames limped in the small blind but Michael Tureniec in the big made it 115,000 to go. Eames made the call and they saw a flop.

Flop: {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Eames checked it, and Tureniec stuck in a continuation bet of 125,000. Eames called it, and they saw another card.

Turn: {9-Clubs}

Eames checked for a second time and this time the bet from Tureniec was 300,000. Again, a call, and thence to the river.

River: {8-Spades}

Eames checked once more, and Tureniec bet again - this time a roughly pot-sized 1 million. Eames pulled a face. In fact, he pulled many different faces during his couple minutes in the tank, incorporating expressions of pain, disgust, anguish, confusion, and deep, deep unhappiness. The final expression he was wearing was one of nausea, as he dropped the requisite call across the betting line.

Tureniec: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for top pair
Eames: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for two pair

Presumably Eames' stomach has settled down now, as his two pair was good and he picked up the pot. Eames is now back to a convincing lead, on 6.955 million.

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

John Eames opened to 85,000 from the button, Michael Tureniec called in the small blind and Per Linde called in the big blind for our first three-way pot.

Flop: {10-Spades} {8-Spades} {K-Diamonds}

All three players checked the flop to see the...

Turn: {10-Diamonds}

Tureniec now lead out for 150,000 but Per Linde made it 425,000 to play. Eames folded quickly and Tureniec gave up just as fast.

Small Ball to the Break

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

A couple small pots for the two non-chip-leaders just before our final three headed to the break.

Per Linde picked up the blinds and antes with an 85,000 raise from the button; the next hand he got a walk as well.

The hand after that, Michael Tureniec raised from the button and John Eames called in the big blind. Eames check-called 100,000 on the {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, and checked again on the {4-Spades} turn. This time Tureniec bet 250,000 and it proved too much for Eames and he folded.

Three-Handed Break

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

This final table is destroying itself in record time! The last three tough players are now enjoying a short break but they'll be back to play down to a winner in 15 minutes.

Level: 26

Blinds: 25,000/50,000

No Flops Here

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

John Eames raised from the button first hand back, but a three-bet from Michael Tureniec in the small blind pushed him off the hand.

Next hand it was Tureniec's turn to raise-fold, as he made it 105,000 from the button but folded to a 225,000 three-bet from Per Linde in the small blind.

Raise and Take It for All But Tureniec

Per Linde opened on the button for 110k - winner.
John Eames opened on the button - winner.

Michael Tureniec raised preflop - had to wait a while to win. Eames called him, and the {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} was checked, bringing the {3-Diamonds}. Now Eames bet out 125k, and Tureniec made a raise to 400,000. This got rid of Eames in a matter of seconds.
