Nikolas Liakos opened to 32,000 on the button before Andrea Dalle Molle made it 87,000 from the big blind. Liakos then min-clicked it back making it 142,000 to go.
Molle instantly folded and Liakos turned over and said, "Don't you try, pally!" to his Italian opponent.
John Eames and Michael Tureniec have a lot of history of playing each other, Tureniec won a huge hand at the English Poker Open last year where he outdrew Eames very deep into the tournament.
Eames opened to 43,000 from the small blind but Tureniec responded with a 3-bet to 104,000. Eames then reached deep out and 4-bet to 204,000 with about 680,000 back, however the Swede wasn't blinking and he moved all-in - Eames folded instantly.
Jens Lauridsen opened for 36,000 in the cutoff, but Johnny Jensen on the button made it 90,000 to go and Lauridsen gave it up.
Lauridsen raised to 36,000 again the next hand and this time Jensen flat-called, but now Mudassar Khan three-bet to 127,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Lauridsen gave it up pretty swiftly, but Jensen took his time. He stared intensely at Khan as if to say, "What do you have?" Then he actually asked Khan something, which was in Danish and therefore impenetrable to us, but we suspect was something along the lines of, "What do you have?"
After a few moments more in the tank, Jensen folded face up, to the astonishment and horror of the Scandinavian rail.
A big pot has lifted the early leader Joel Nordkvist back up to near joint second place with Michael Tureniec. Tureniec raised to 42k under the gun, and Nordkvist on the button made the call. On the flop, Tureniec kept going, leading for 64k. Call from Nordkvist. This pattern continued all the way to the river, with Tureniec betting 116k on the turn and 256k on the river. Opting for no raise at any point, Nordkvist called all the way and showed to win the pot. Tureniec mucked.
Kevin Iacofano opened preflop to 45,000 and got called by Mudassar Khan and Nikolas Liakos in the small blind and big blind respectively.
The flop of was checked around before Khan took a shot with a 79,000 bet on the turn which Liakos and Iacofano both called. Suddenly the pot was getting huge.
The came on the river and Khan thought for a minute before checking and Liakos now bet 120,000 before Iacofano quickly declared he was all-in and pushed everything into the middle for a total of 404,000. Khan tanked for a minute before folding but Liakos was nowhere need as quick.
The Swede sat thinking, even getting a count, for around eight minutes while the rest of the table stayed silent. Finally he folded.
"Show the bluff!" shouted someone.
"You can turn over one," said Iacofano.
Liakos flipped over a card, perhaps he wished he hadn't as it was the .
Per Linde opened to 45,000 under the gun and Lars Krogh made it 125,000 to go. Back to Linde, who went all in, and Krogh finally called all in for a total of 485,000.
As our blogger Djinn said: "Run better, Per Linde."

Per Linde is now in possession of 3.243 million - a third of the chips in play. Our Top 3 Swedes (Michael Tureniec on 1.951 million and Joel Nordkvist on 1.831 million) have more than half the chips between them.
