The flop was giving Pepe an open ended straight draw and some slither of hope. The turn was and the river was and Pepe's tournament run had come to an end.
The floormen and dealer were just cleaning up after the departure of Franck Pepe, when all of the money somehow ended up in the middle, in a hand between Philip Jacobsen and Julien Claudepierre.
Jacobsen was in terrible shape with his against the of Claudepierre. The flop gave Jacobsen some back door draws and one of them came in on the turn when the hit the board. Jacobsen was praying for a club but it didn't come when the ended his tournament.

By the by, they normally colour up the T1,000 chips when the antes hit 5,000, but this time they have instead left the T1,000 chips on the table and instead taken off the grey T5,000 ones. We understand that this is due to them being the same colour as the T100,000 chips which they will shortly start introducing.
