Jacks For Kamar

Fady Kamar has just doubled up to 320,000 after a clash with Rodrigo Dos Santos Caprioli. Kamar raised to 25,000 on the button and Caprioli moved all-in from the big blind. Kamar couldn't call fast enough and we had a showdown with Kamar the man at risk of elimination.

Kamar{J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Caprioli{4-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}

So Kamar looked primed to double up and the board did nothing to change that fact.

Board: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {A-Spades} {J-Spades}

A Board Full of Diamonds

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ignat Liviu and Dan Abouaf just shared the blinds and antes after an all-in showdown.

Liviu{A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}
Abouaf{Q-Hearts} {8-Clubs}

Board: {10-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}

Liviu actually thought he was out until the dealer reminded him of the sparkling diamonds on the flop. Liviu really does need something fast though as he is down to his last 50,000.

Fancy Seeing You Here

I was at the payout desk picking up the latest bust outs and while I was there Erik Seidel and Chris Brammer came to collect after busting.

Seidel said he got short and three-bet all-in with ace-ten. The raiser called with pocket sevens and held.

Brammer looked very disappointed and said he found it hard to get anything going today. His final hand saw him push with pocket nines only to run into an opponent holding pocket kings.

Geert-Jan Potijk v Matthias de Meulder

Geert-Jan Potijk and Team PokerStars Pro Matthias de Meulder have both exchanged chips twice.

Hand 1

We arrived at the table late and the board was already displayed - {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs} {K-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. Geert-Jan Potijk was holding {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and De Meulder held {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} and the chips were heading the way of the Team Pro after an all-in clash.

Hand 2

Geert-Jan Potijk open shoved from under the gun and De Meulder called in the small blind. De Meulder showed {A-} {9-} and Potijk showed {K-Clubs} {9-}. This time the pot went the way of the Dutchman when his king of clubs played on a four flush club board.

After all that both players are on around 200,000.

Benger Crippled, Then Eliminated

Dmitry Grishin raised from the button 20,000 before Daniel Gomez reraised all in for a little over 200,000 from the small blind. Griffin Benger raised all in from the big blind for a little bit more and then Grishin folded.

Benger held the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Gomez the {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{A-Hearts} and Gomez spiked an ace on the river to double up. Benger was left with under 20,000 in chips.

On the next hand, Benger raised all in from the small blind and Pratyush Buddiga called from the big blind. Benger held a dominated {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to Buddiga's {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The board ran out {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Benger was eliminated.

Cailly On a Roll, Busts Another Player

Lucille Cailly's level has gone from good to great after she busted another player, her friend and fellow Frenchman Bruno Launais.

The action folded to her on the button and she opened to 20,000. Launais was in the small blind and shoved for 140,000. Cailly asked for a count and made a reluctant looking call, even though she had a strong strong hand.

Cailly: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Launais: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Launais was all smiles as he was led off to get his money.

Gurtovoy Takes on Buddiga

Anatoly Gurtovoy raised to 20,000 on the button and Pratyush Buddiga three-bet to 53,000 in the small blind. Ziv Caspi suddenly found an interest in the hand from the big blind and both players stared at him intently until he decided to fold. Almost immediately, Buddiga's eyes preyed on Gurtovoy and the Russian made the call.

Flop: {J-Clubs} {3-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

Buddiga bet 47,000 and Gurtovoy raised to 74,000. Some of the players motioned to the dealer that the raise size was incorrect and Gurtovoy was asked to make it 94,000. Gurtovoy did as he was told, but it was irrelevant, as Buddiga mucked his hand.
