First Elimination of the Day Take Just 11 Minutes

Yesterday the first elimination of Day 1a occurred just 15 minutes into play. Today it took 11 minutes. It happened when Andrii Nadieliaiev and Andrey Zaichenko each put in 4,750 preflop and saw a flop of {K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Zaichenko bet 5,000, Nadieliaiev called, and the dealer burned and turned the {2-Clubs}. Zaichenko bet again, this time 6,000, and again Nadieliaiev called. When the {4-Spades} peeled off on the river, Zaichenko moved all in for his last 14,300 and Nadieliaiev snap-called. Zaichenko revealed {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, but it was no good against the {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} of Nadieliaiev.

Interesting, yesterday's first elimination came from an aces-versus-kings hand, though those players got it all in preflop.

Chip Counts
