Visscher Looking to Erupt
Koen De Visscher has been a fringe character on the EPT having managed a 3rd place finish at EPT Snowfest in Season 7. Will this be his moment to make the next step up?

Jannick Wrang, the PokerStars qualifier, opened from under the gun then called David Vamplew's button three-bet to what looked like 91,000. The dealer got busy putting out the flop and both players opted to check.
The passivity continued on the turn as both players folded again but the
river saw Wrang bet 132,000 and Vamplew was not prepared to pay this and he got out of the way.
From the cutoff seat David Vamplew made it 40,000 to play and was initially called by Olivier Busquet on the button. The small blind got out of the way but Jannick Wrang, who has gone on somewhat of a tear at the moment, squeezed to 104,000.
This was enough to fold out Vamplew but Busquet sat figuring out what his next move should be. After not too much thinking time he decided that the best course of action was to fold.
Players are on a 15 minute break.
Most of the remaining players had gone on break but two remained behind, battling their blinds. The battle ended with the elimination of our final remaining former EPT champion, David Vamplew.
The action folded around to the Scot in the small blind and he raised to 47,000. Olivier Busquet peeled to see an flop where he called a 50,000 c-bet.
The turn came and Vamplew fired again, for 115,000. Busquet pondered, as he likes to do, before he announced he was all-in for 525,000. Vamplew looked pained, took some time himself, and called all-in for 490,000 with
for a turned top pair.
Busquet was ahead though with for a flopped two pair. The river came
and that sealed Vamplew's fate.
The players will now be drawn on to one table of nine before play ends for the day.

The unofficial final table has restarted and with everyone at least 50 big blinds deep, we could be a while.
Simeon Naydenov and Olivier Busquet have just flexed their poker muscles at each other early on this final table. The action folded to Busquet on the button and he raised it up as one would expect. Simeon Naydenov was in the small blind and therefore next to act and he three-bet to 131,000. Koen De Visscher folded his big blind but Busquet clicked it back and made it 212,000 to play,
There was a little confusion about whether Busquet's raise was legal or not and it was deemed a full raise and therefore perfectly legitimate but it did not matter anyway because when Naydenov moved all in Busquet instantly folded.
