Benefield Just Can't Call

donpeters • Level 22: 12,000-24,000, 3,000 ante

From early position, 2013 World Series of Poker November Niner raised to 50,000. Joni Jouhkimainen called from the big blind, and the flop came down {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Jouhkimainen checked, Benefield bet 65,000, and Jouhkimainen called.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {9-Spades} land on the river. Jouhkimainen bet 150,000, and Benefield tanked for a bit. Benefield had 300,000 behind and looked extremely torn with the decision. He counted out chips to make the call and jockeyed them back and forth a tiny bit almost ready to call, but couldn't quite do it. In the end, he folded his hand, and Jouhkimainen won the pot.
