By then the pot had already bloated up to around 20,000, and when Gromov checked Ziyard committed the last of his stack, forcing a fold from Polito. Stelyan Georgiev's stack has been steadily climbing today. While his appearance is stoic, he's been active throughout the afternoon, involved in a high percentage of pots and winning enough to accumulate a 70,000-plus chip stack.
At the end of the previous level, Georgiev opened for 500 from middle position and got three callers, including both blinds. The quartet all checked the flop, then when the fell on the turn it checked through to Jiachen Gong in late position who bet 1,025, and only Georgiev called.
The river was the and both Georgiev and Gong checked. Gong showed , having failed to steal the pot on the turn, while Georgiev had for queens to claim the small pot.
Martin Jacobson and Bartlomiej Ryszard Machon tangled in a pot that left the latter with just 800 chips to play with.
