It seems that's how the tournament is going so far this evening. Any element of three-betting seems to have disappeared from the event and any show of strength is always respected.
Glen Cymbaluk limped in the small blind for 40,000 and James Mitchell moved all in from the big blind for around 700,000. Cymbaluk sighed with a wry smile and folded face up.
Shortly after scoring that double-up through Remi Castaignon, Joe Mouawad found himself all in and at risk once again against the Frenchman.
This time Castaignon had raised from middle position and it folded back to Mouawad in the big blind who pushed all in for 795,000. Castaignon called, showing , and Mouawad was hoping his would hold.
All was fine for the Lebanese player through the flop and turn. But the fell on the river to pair Castaignon's ace, and Mouawad leaves us in 17th place.
The tournament has been paused to redraw for the final two eight-handed tables.

The blue-hoodied Belgian Robert Romeo open-raised all in from the cutoff seat for 495,000, and after getting a count the cowboy-hat wearing Glen Cymbaluk of Canada called from the button. The blinds stepped aside, Romeo revealed his , and Cymbaluk turned up .
The flop came and Romeo's jacks were still best. Then the fell on the turn, earning an appreciative tap of the side of the table from Cymbaluk as Romeo's tourney prospects suddenly appeared grim.
The dealer burned a card and delivered the river… the ! Romeo had survived with trip jacks, and play continued for the 16 remaining players.
