Daher MIA

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The players are in their seats, well apart from Albert Daher who isn't here yet. If you know him then it's probably best you tell him to come to the final table!

Daher Arrives

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Not to worry, Albert Daher has just arrived. He only missed 10 minutes and one small blind.

Losev's Cautious Play

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Nikolay Losev opened to 27,000 preflop and Albert Daher made the call in the big blind.

Both players checked the {Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades} board to the river where Daher fired a bet of 36,000. Losev called with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} beating the Lebanese chip leader's {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a small pot.

Just before the end of the last level, the final table saw its first big pot.

Dominik Panka opened to 26,000 from the cut-off before Albert Daher three-bet the button to 52,000. Martin Schleich then four-bet to 127,000 out of the big blind.

Panka quickly folded but Daher wanted to know how much Schleich had behind him. "I started with around 700,000," said the German.

Seemingly satisfied, Daher flat-called.

The flop was {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn saw a second round of checks and the dealer put the {K-Clubs} out on the river. Schleich checked a final time but Daher fired a bet of 175,000. The German thought for a minute or two and then made the call.

Daher showed {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Schleich tapped the table.
