Bensadoun Busted

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We didn't catch the hand unfold, but we do know that [Removed:119] was just eliminated from the tournament.

It appeared he got the last of his chips all in on the river with a board reading {4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Bensadoun held the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for two pair, but it was no good as David Vamplew had the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a full house.

Meanwhile, Antoine Saout has been eliminated from the tournament.

Two Day 2 Entries Bounced Already

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Khiem Nguyen opted to register this tournament at the last possible minute, and as it turned out he didn't get to see much playing time.

In what was ultimately Nguyen's last hand, he min-raised to 4,000 only to have Benny Spindler three-bet to 10,500. Action folded back to Nguyen, and he shoved all in, which Spindler promptly call.

Spindler: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

It was a classic flip, but Nguyen would need to improve if he hoped to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, the {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop made that impossible as Spindler spiked a set. Nguyen's only shot of extending his tournament life was running straight cards for a chop, and the {8-Clubs} turn made that a possibility. All Nguyen needed was a five on the river, but it wasn't in the cards as the {8-Hearts} peeled off instead.

Likewise, Max Lehmanski, another of the five players that entered at the start of Day 2, was eliminated in unknown action.

Jin Straight

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Cailin Jin who rebought this morning opened from first position for 4,100 and got one caller in the big blind Dmitry Yurasov, one of the big stacks on the table. They saw a flop of,

{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Both players checked and they saw a turn card {2-Spades}. Again they both checked to see a river card {9-Clubs}. Yurasov checked and Jin deliberated before making a bet of 26,000 leaving 10,100 behind. Yurasov made the call but couldn’t beat the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} rivered straight of Jin.

Lewis Shoves

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Toby Lewis started the day short on 56,700. He opened for 500 and Dmitry Yurasov three-bet him to 1,700 from the small blind. It folded back round to Lewis who moved all in. Yurasov had another last look at his cards and folded.

Jedlicka's Hot Start Continues; Eliminates Carlsson

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Niki Jedlick, who finished runner-up to Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov last week in the Eureka High Roller, bought in at the start of Day 2, and in less than an hour he's more than tripled his starting stack.

In a recent hand, Carl Carlsson moved all in for 33,600 and Jedlicka moved all in over the top from the button. The blinds both folded and the cards were turned up.

Jedlicka: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Carlsson: {5-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

"I've been running good," Jedlicka said confidently. Indeed, his proclamation was evidenced by the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop. The {A-Clubs} turn improved him to a full house, which meant Carlsson was drawing dead. The meaningless {9-Diamonds} was run out on the river for good measure, and Carlsson took his leave from the tournament.

No Back-to-Back High Roller Titles for Panka

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Yesterday Dominik Panka, who you no doubt remember winning both the PCA Main Event and EPT10 Deauville High Roller, has been eliminated from the EPT Vienna High Roller in unknown action.

Panka celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday, but obviously his b-day luck ran out here on Day 2.

Likewise, Raoul Refos has also been eliminated from the tournament.
