Jean Busts Just Before the Break

As players were heading into the break, Mikael Jean was eliminated at the hands of Bjorn Geissert.

McDonald's Stack Diminished in Remarkable Hand

Ferdinand Le Pichon opened to 26,000 from middle position and Mike McDonald on the button three bet to 65,000. Both blinds folded, Le Pichon made the call.

The flop came and Le Pichon tanked for several minutes. McDonald called the clock on him, and eventually he checked. McDonald now bet 45,000 and Le Pichon called.

The fell on the turn and Le Pichon checked again. McDonald bet 80,000 and Le Pichon instantly check raised all in. McDonald just smiled a bit and said "That was a fast all in!" He thought about it for a bit and then called.

Sikora Makes Double Knock Out; Lodden and Turtiainen Hit the Rail

Over on the feature table we saw a massive three way all in. Lodden in early position, Sikora in the hijack and Turtiainen in the big blind had all of their chips in the middle before the flop. The main pot was 466,000, the side pot was a bit bigger with 844,000.

The flop gave Lodden some outs with , but the on the turn and on the river were blanks and Lodden made his exit in 29th place while Turtiainen finished in 28th place.
