Kolonias Takes Bigger Lead

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

A few hands were traded and Alexandros Kolonias was able to increase his lead.

He raised to 240,000 and Alexandru Papazian called to see the flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Papazian check-called a bet worth 250,000 before checking through the {4-Diamonds} turn. After the {2-Spades} river, Papazian bet 800,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Then, Kolonias got some back after min-raising to the very same amount and betting the {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop for 250,000. Papazian check-called before check-folding the {10-Spades} turn when facing a second bet worth 500,000.

The biggest pot of the new level was played when Papazian raised to 300,000 and Kolonias called. The {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop saw Kolonias check-raise from 200,000 to 600,000 and Papazian called. No betting action followed on the {9-Diamonds} turn before the {J-Clubs} river saw Kolonias claim the pot by betting one million and forcing a fold.
