The action was folded around to Adrian Mateos in the small blind. The Spaniard raised to 10,000 and Dario Sammartino opted to defend his big blind.
The flop was and Mateos threw in another 10,000. Sammartino called and the landed on the turn.
Mateos gave it some thought before moving all in, which was for 49,500 effectively. Sammartino had to make a decision for all of his chips and took his time.
After three minutes the clock was called on the Italian and he had one minute to act. With 30 seconds left he made the call showing for king-high and a straight draw.
Mateos tabled and was in excellent shape to bust his opponent. The river wasn't one of Sammartino's outs to chop and he was sent to the rail.
